Sally Brading

Sally is a local GP, RBGE Certificate in Practical Horticulture and Mountain Leader.

Sally joined Branch Out in December 2020 to set up a volunteering group. She grew up near Cambridge spending many childhood hours up a tree or building a garden den. Training as a doctor took up a fair amount of time but as she morphed into adulthood her enjoyment of the outdoors particularly gardening, walking and cycling became vital parts of her life. 

Recognising the benefit of gardening on her own health, she set up a project working with ex-offenders on a derelict allotment site and later a gardening social enterprise called Companion Planters.
