A busy term of outdoor play, learning and discovery!

Phew! We have now had a chance to rest after what's been a brilliant and busy term since lockdown ended back in the spring.

It's been a real pleasure to work with some new schools this year both at our woods and in various school grounds. We are excited to continue working with several schools on a long term basis in the autumn term. We love this sort of work- where we get to know our groups well, develop good relationships with our learners and explore the woods and how they change throughout the seasons. This is when the forest school ethos can work it's magic- offering the chance to revisit, repeat and extend learning and really get to know the woods and all the many opportunities they provide.

It has been wonderful to continue our Under 5s' parent and child groups as well, which continue to grow in popularity. Thanks to all the families who have supported our sessions and given us some lovely feedback (see below). We will be opening bookings for our autumn sessions at the start of August.
