Returning to the woods

Branch Out are delighted to be able to restart our work with children, young people and families this spring.

This week, it has been wonderful to resume our work with schools. Getting out in all weathers, exploring the woods, playing with friends and being part of a community is essential to support everyone's wellbeing after this latest lockdown. It's great to see the children full of enthusiasm and excitement for these things to be a possibility again. We feel the benefits too!

We are taking a measured and steady approach to starting up other sessions, ensuring we follow the latest government guidelines to keep everyone safe, but at the same time recognising the community need to have events to attend and opportunities to connect with other families again.

We are excited to show you some changes we have made in the woods, including a new second shelter and hard paths to our site. It's made a huge difference for access to our woodland area. If you've been one of the parents pushing a buggy through the mud whilst carrying your toddler, you'll see what we mean!

More information about our Under 5s' sessions will be posted soon and tickets will go on sale in April. We look forward to welcoming you back into the woods soon...
